Hardiness In your landscape ‘Grace’ will thrive in zone 7A and above. Unique, deciduous-like growth throughout the tree following harsh winters.
Getting Started This Eucalyptus is rare in nature but one of the most consistent and fastest growing of all the Southern Eucs. In McDonough, GA we have an outlier that reached 30’ from seed in three years.
Size Easy to control and responds well to pruning. All grown up 'Grace' could reach 40’.
Leaf New growth is a delicate pink. Elongated fruit scented leaves emerge from stems that take on striking burgundy and purples in fall and winter.

What we learned in Southern Euc Trials In McDonough, GA (zone 8A), 10 month old Eucalyptus trees had minimal leaf damage and looked great after a winter where temps reached 6°. In Suches, GA (zone 7A), 10 month old Eucalyptus trees - that froze to the ground at 0° and 29 mph winds - are growing vigorously from the base.
